That for now the Game runs on what is called a "Phased Release". Day 1 - 1% Day 2 - 2% Day 3 - 5% Day 4 - 10% Day 5 - 20% Day 6 - 50% Day 7 - 100% While is has never been confirmed, it is believed that this is how the updates are released to the player base worldwide. Guardians, This is an official broadcast from the United Earth Government (UEG). The latest wave of alien incursions, combined with rebel assaults, has dealt heavy losses to our armies and orbital fleets. To adapt to this shifting battlefield, UEG has reached a final consensus: We will no longer attempt to command every front from the center. What we need are more leaders on the ground.
